The employed physician staff at TCMH includes four emergency room physicians, four family practice physicians (one does OB), three internists, two general surgeons (for 1/2 call) and four mid-level providers. We also have two full-time CRNAs covering surgery and OB pain management.
In May 2013 we opened the doors on a new ER, radiology suite and medical surgical wing. Today we are a 66-bed, general acute care institution with a 13-bed emergency room, a four-bed ICU, a three-room operating suite with a six-bed recovery, and an obstetrical unit complete with three LDRP rooms and two postpartum rooms. We have ! the standard medical/surgical rooms as well, and eight beds on! the med surg unit are equipped for telemetry patients. EMR, PACS, centralized fetal monitoring, in-house MRI and sleep lab are just a few of the technological advantages we offer our medical staff and our patients.
We have four rural health hospital clinics. In Houston on the hospital's main campus general surgery is located in a multi-specialty clinic with family medicine with and w/o obstetrics and internal medicine. South of Houston, we have family medicine physicians and mid-level providers at clinics in Cabool and in Mountain Grove. North of Houston, we have another family medicine clinic in Licking. In all the hospital services about 45,000 people.
