Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
The HR Manager is responsible for setting up the HR department of the company and ensuring the HR policies and procedures are developed and implemented. The HR Manager will also handle all HR-related tasks such as recruiting, hiring, training, performance management, and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures for the company
- Recruit, hire, and maintain a skilled and diverse workforce
- Create and manage employee benefits programs
- Develop and deliver training programs for employees
- Establish and maintain performance management systems
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to HR
- Maintain accurate personnel records
- Manage employee relations issues, including discipline and termination
- Make recommendations regarding compensation and benefits packages
- Coordinate with management on long-term HR planning and strategy
Qualifications
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management. Experience setting up an HR department is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with HR software and databases.
