Use your extensive subject matter expertise to influence customers toward Honeywell solutions. You will provide both external and internal consultations, and will help Honeywell teams develop and maintain the right product messaging, customer support, and training. You will foster cross-functional alignment to customer needs. You will participate in pursuit strategy planning, and customer negotiations. You may consult prospective users on product capability. You may provide valuable input for product development.

Primary Objectives

  • Assist in scope development with the customer, “upselling” additional scope where possible, to include estimate and proposal support.
  • Provides support to account managers, customer acquisition reps, and business consultants in the coordination of sales process tasks for larger opportunities.
  • Provide technical insightand trends in support of sales pursuits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Relationships: Primary relationship is to supportthe sales professionals in winning opportunities; (i.e., providing Whiteboard support) and determining technical components related to customer’s mission critical factors; Provides market feedback to marketing and sales professionals.
  • Sales Process: Supports both sales professionals and customers duringthe technical requirement definition and solution development sales process steps.
  • Customers: Participates in the creationof the customer technical roadmap;customers include both internal and external.
  • People Management: Works as a team player with many sales professionals in assigned geography. Acts as a resource in support of the sale to address the customer’s technical and application requirements.
  • Leadership: Provides coaching to sales professionals as it relates to their assigned application specialty.
  • Results: Achieves orders, margin,and growth for assigned areas of expertisewithin region.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, or equivalent experience in the field.
  • 5+ years of experience in building automatic control technology solutions (Energy saving control) is preferred.
  • Experience in ICT/smart building communication is preferred.
  • Positioning technical features/ functions into value for the customer.
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate technical concepts/offerings to internal and external customers; e.g. customer specs, proposal documents, presentations, etc.
  • Experience in technical writing and preparation of proposals.
  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects/ opportunities at one time.
  • Appropriate accreditation.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of application and offerings.
  • Ability to translate customers’ business drivers and their organizational needs into a technical solution.
  • Understands the unique value proposition of the assigned application and associated offerings and how that relates to the customer.
  • Provides competitive positioning and differentiation support.
