Post Specification
(1) Research Associate (two posts) (Ref. No.: AiDLab/RP1-4/R016-R017)
[Appointment period: each for thirty-six months]
(2) Research Assistant (two posts) (Ref. No.: AiDLab/RP1-4/R018-R019)
[Appointment period: each for twelve months]
Duties
The applicant will be required to:
(a) participate in the design and development of hardware and software for data collection from smart garment;
(b) responsible for hardware testing and debugging;
(c) assist in the design of smart garment with wearable technology; and
(d) assist in development of AI algorithms.
Qualifications
The following qualifications are required and preferred:
(a) an honors degree and a Ph.D. degree (or equivalent qualifications) for the post of
Research Assistant and Research Associate, respectively, in the field of Mechatronic
Engineering;
(b) good knowledge and experience in handling inertial measurement units (IMUs);
(c) good knowledge and experience in various coding languages;
(d) good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; and
(e) highly motivated, independent and energetic.
Remuneration
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Applicants should state their current and expected salary in the application.
