ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create, maintain and verify records and documents in the system.
  • Sort, distribute incoming mail, email and other correspondence
  • Assist other department employees by providing efficient support to the department Create reports and maintain reports
  • Maintain filing system, implement changes to the filing system, and disposes of obsolete files in accordance with established guidelines
  • Track received data and documents
  • Sort and scan documentation for electronic use and analyze scanned documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Review error reports and enter corrections.
  • Transmit entered information into database and files or routes source documents after entry
  • Maintain and update procedures for this position

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must be computer literate and knowledgeable in Windows and Microsoft Office environment
  • Microsoft Excel and knowledge of insurance database system a plus
  • Fast learner and attention to detail
