ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create, maintain and verify records and documents in the system.
 - Sort, distribute incoming mail, email and other correspondence
 - Assist other department employees by providing efficient support to the department Create reports and maintain reports
 - Maintain filing system, implement changes to the filing system, and disposes of obsolete files in accordance with established guidelines
 - Track received data and documents
 - Sort and scan documentation for electronic use and analyze scanned documents for accuracy and completeness
 - Review error reports and enter corrections.
 - Transmit entered information into database and files or routes source documents after entry
 - Maintain and update procedures for this position
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
 - Must be computer literate and knowledgeable in Windows and Microsoft Office environment
 - Microsoft Excel and knowledge of insurance database system a plus
 - Fast learner and attention to detail
