Utilizes diagnostic ultrasound under the supervision of a qualified doctor or medicine or physician, who responsibility is the use and interrelation of ul! trasound procedures.
Must maintain patient confidentiality.
Must be registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS.)
Must be a graduate of an AMA or CAHEA accredited educational program in diagnostic medical sonography or have obtained equivalent experience.
Must have experience in abdominal, gynecology, and obstetric, colorflow and small parts.
Must be personally responsible to obtain continuing education hours/credits (CME) to maintain registry.
Must have a positive attitude, the ability to react in emergency situations, and the ability to learn new procedures quickly.
