Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Jewelry Information Specialist to assist in the migration of our website and jewelry tagging and identification system. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless transition and organization of our diverse and unique jewelry collections onto our new Shopify platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the migration of our current jewelry database to a new Shopify website.
  • Tag and organize jewelry items in our identification system, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Create new product entries and pages on the Shopify website.
  • Utilize basic to advanced knowledge of jewelry types, stones, cuts, and other relevant characteristics for accurate tagging and description.
  • Work closely with the team to support the transition to the new system and website.

Requirements:

  • Basic to advanced understanding of jewelry, including types, stones, cuts, and classifications.
  • Experience or familiarity with website management, particularly Shopify, is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in jewelry identification and classification is a bonus.

Training:

Comprehensive training will be provided to familiarize you with our specific systems and processes.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: Up to $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
