Job Summary

Rancho Foods’ Human Resource Coordinator bears the responsibility for learning the policies and procedures of the Company, with an emphasis in compliance and safety.We are looking for a candidate that has the capacity to manage Human Resource related functions including, but not limited to onboarding, timekeeping, benefits administration, safety and compliance management, and workers’ compensation claims management. Rancho Foods’ ideal candidate for the Human Resource Coordinator position possesses sound judgement, strong problem solving skills and the ability to manage conflict under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager.

Essential Functions

Benefits Administration

· New employee health insurance enrollment

· OE enrollee assistance (May for June)

· Monthly health insurance billing reconciliation

· 401k/Profit Sharing OE assistance (June for July, December for January)

· Manage employee LOAs (initial paperwork, EDD paperwork)

Compliance/Safety

· Maintain compliance with DOT commercial driver drug & alcohol testing requirements

· Maintain and submit OSHA logs

· Maintaining certifications (harassment prevention, drivers’ license, medical card, etc.)

· Miscellaneous: DMV Pull Program Notices, Labor Law Poster Compliance, Fire and Disaster Drills, Safety Training, Emergency Response Training

Workers’ Compensation

· Complete DWC-1 & Form 5020 and report to Insurance Carrier for all work-related injuries

· Complete IIPP: Accident & Injury Investigation Form for all employee accidents & injuries

· Maintain status updates & work status report updates for all WC medical-only claims

Miscellaneous Responsibilities

· Receive, enter, scan, save, and file employee documentation (time off requests, direct deposit submissions, records of discussion, etc.)

· Receive and track submission of updated employment documents (handbook, IIPP, arbitration agreements, etc.)

· Maintain employee assets (phone, laptop, uniforms, boots, RefrigiWear, etc.)

Cross-train on the following functions:

· Creating/posting job descriptions, recruiting functions

· Conduct interviews with qualified applicants

· Onboarding: administering hire paperwork, data entry, training, etc.

· Timekeeping: Adjusting timecards, verification reports, violation/verification write-ups

Job Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related discipline preferred

Minimum of two years’ experience in a Human Resources position

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
