We are looking for a responsible custodian to maintain our facilities. It is important for a custodian to be careful and thorough in working, cleaning and tidying the premises. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a custodian role.
1 person crew - 3 hours per night after 6pm
2 person crew - 1.5 hours per night after 6pm
This is a 1099 position
Responsibilities
- Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces
- Cleaning classrooms, common areas, and restrooms.
- Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets
- Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and restock disposables
- Wipe mirrors and windows
Skills
- Proven experience as custodian, janitor or in a similar role, preferably in a school setting.
- Attention to detail and conscientiousness
- High school diploma is preferred but not required
