Pediatric Urgent Care located in an outpatient
medical building located two miles from the ho! spital.
Current Staff: 2 Pediatricians plus 2
part-time NPs J
Other Pediatricians within Mercy will
moonlight & pick up shifts as needed
Medical Building: Large, 4-story
outpatient medical building which houses numerous specialists &
primary care (Gen Pediatrics OBGYN Rheumatology lab x-ray pulmonology
podiatry etc.)
Pediatric office was recently remodeled &
expanded
Hours: Monday Friday 2p-10p, Sat/Sun 10a-7p
(rotate weekends)
Will gradually expand hours depending upon
demand & coverage
NP Schedule: work 2-3 nights per week plus 2
8-hour shifts on weekends.
Selling Points: Work with experienced
pediatricians! Remodeled/expanded space; No call; Busy especially on the
weekends; Need ER-type skills; be board eligible/certified; PALS certified
Patient Load: Weeknights = 25 patients/day;
Weekend = 60 patients/day
Procedures: Need ER-type skill! s; Do suturing
casting splinting foreign body removal
