Includes medical record reviews, reporting of findings and reviewing the results with applicable individuals. Demonstrates intermediate to advanced knowledge and experience of coding for a variety of physician specialties including, surgery, obstetrics, psychiatry, primary care, oncology, radiology, pulmonology, ENT, gastroenterology, etc.This individual will serve as a leader and subject matter expert for SLMG. Activities will include review of physician coding, one-on-one education with physicians, coding trend analysis and recommendations to improve coding compliance and documentation.This individual ensures regulations related to HIPPA, CLIA, OSHA, CMS, NCQA and other regulatory agencies are upheld within Saint Luke's ! Physician Specialists.
