Pharmacy Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced System Director of Pharmacy to manage pharmacy operations at the Truman Medical Centers in Kansas City, Missouri. ! TMC Hospital Hill is state-of-the-art medical campus in the heart of downtown, Kansas City that provides a wide array of acute care and outpatient services and has the busiest emergency room in the metropolitan area with more than 75,000 visits a year. TMC is recognized as a top Level 1 trauma center. They are also noted for the care that is provided for Asthma, Diabetes, Obstetrics, Ophthalmology, Sickle Cell Disease, and Women's Health. The System Director also provides oversight for the TMC Lakewood Medical Campus Pharmacy, all retail and Medication Assistance pharmacies and the Walgreens on-site.In addition to being the primary teaching hospital for the UMKC School of Medicine, Community and Family Medicine Residency training program; Truman Hospital Hill features 277 licensed beds, and is just steps away from Crown Center and the River Market area. http://www.trumed.org/truweb/ The System Director of Pharmacy will be responsible to: Leadership and management of the Dep! artments of Pharmacy on two medical campuses. Oversight of ret! ail Pharmacy relationships and the hospitals 340B indigent care program. Provides direction for the Pharmacy Residency programs that are offered by the facility. Develop, implement, and monitor compliance with departmental policies and procedures. Staff development and compliance with regulatory issues to promote optimal patient care. Maintain a system of financial and inventory control according to hospital standards. Directs departmental participation in various hospital committees, including, but not limited to Infection Control Committee, P&T Committee, and the Safety Committee. Primary contact for UMKC School of Pharmacy and on-site faculty. Reports to the Vice President of Professional Health Services.
- Licensed Pharmacist/Pharm.
