The Med is a Level 1 Trauma Center seeing substantial growth in our services offered. We are currently looking for Physical Therapists with experience or interest in the follow departments: Burn Center ICU Med/Surg Acute In-patient Out-patient Orthopedic Under the leadership of an Executive team with a vision of development, through investing in their employees, The Med is continuing to see growth. This is an amazing opportunity for anyone who wants to become more involved in their company through program development.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assess, plan and implement treatment programs for patients according to established principles and practices of Physical Therapy Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment team Oversees work of support personnel Ability to effectively record and reflect observations and progress Ability and willingness to apply knowledge and skills and maintain clinical competency as required in a rehabilitation department Demonstrate skills in the use of applicable equipment; mature judgment and initiative required Ability to plan and organize work for self and others Shows professional interest through self-development, continuing education, and involvement in professional organizations Ability to give and follow written and oral instructions Ability to communicate effectively with others Qualified by education, training or experience to work with the adolescent, adult and/or geriatric patients as specialty assignment dictates Sign On Bonus Available Potential for Relocation Assistance.
